I had all these blogging plans for tonight. But all I can think about is my mouth surgery tomorrow.

Really, I'm making it sound much worse to be honest. But I'm so so scared. And upset. :/

I'm having a tooth removed and the thought of being without a tooth isn't very comforting to my unstable self conscious.

  1. I'm sorry Jess! But I've had teeth removed before and it wasn't too bad as long as they put you under and give you some good pain meds for the recovery. I also have 2 fake teeth (and in the very front of my mouth no less) and they don't affect me any differently than normal teeth would. So try not to worry too much-it may not end up being too bad!

  2. if it's the same tooth that was bothering you, do NOT be upset. I promise you, your mouth will feel better after having that removed! Sean had to have TWO infected teeth removed over the summer, and I haven't heard him complain of a toothache since! good luck, I'll be thinking of you!

  3. It's going to be ok!! You'll get pain meds, and Nick can wait on you hand and foot and you'll feel so much better once the surgery is over. Love you!!

  4. My fiance just had all 4 wisdom teeth out (not quite the same, but similar I suppose) He totally rocked it and said it wasn't bad at all. Just rock those pain meds for a bit, and it'll be over before you know it. Plus, it sounds like the pain now is so much worse :( Hoping for a quick recovery!

  5. Thank you girls. I'm laying down right now..was able to eat something and popped my little vicodin :) that laughing gas stuff is amaaaazing. I was so scared, but I really couldn't feel a THING. I mean I could tell they were moving my jaw around but not even the slightest discomfort. I just kept thinking "get it over with already" :P
I have pretty small teeth I guess so the hole isn't even that big *phew* N's upstairs doin' dishes and has been a wonderful man nurse so far ;) hehe

  6. Ah! that sucks. but I wouldn't get too worked up about it. I am not a fan of the dentist!!! but that being funny because I have been a dental assistant for 4 years now, so I will tell you that honestly it is not as bad as everyone makes it out to be ;) all you really have to worry about is taking care of it after, which is easy breezy lady.
I hope you start to feel better. :)
