Aspen II

Alright, if I was completely honest for a moment...mornings like these, unlimited amounts of searing hot coffee, pj's, cartoons, quietness, and the Colorado sunshine comin through the window...make it really hard NOT to think about what it would be like to be a stay at home mom. Of course, in my case..it'd be like "a stay at home wife" since I'm sort of missing the baby part. :) But at the same time..maybe if I had mornings like these all the time, I might not appreciate them as much as I do now. Regardless ... they are fantastic (especially when you catch a vintage cartoon like Rugrats on Nick!! :D Seriously, why don't they make cartoons like this anymore??)

Anyway..let's get to recapping day 2 of my fabulous Aspen weekend before the next weekend is already here again!

After our night on the town in Aspen the night before..Sunday was reserved for sleeping in and lounging around the breakfast table, heavy headed, with hot coffee and yummy eggs and toast, all while staring out the window to this beautiful scenery.

Long after we filled our bellies with eggs and toast we were still useless sitting around the kitchen that little B demanded some story time with Susu :)

Eventually we got our butts in gear, washed off last night's makeup, gave our hair a little fix and hopped back in the car to return to Aspen for some well deserved shopping.

Of course, before we did anything..we needed our second helping of coffee!!
Almond mocha lattes....can you say YUM!!!

That little moonfaced girl and her addiction to coffee.

It's shopping time! These ladies were basically jogging to get to this one jewelry store they had spotted the night before during our midnight window shopping adventure.

It's always a good time to take a picture with your mommy ♥

It really was a beautiful day!

My beautiful mom in front of the Hyatt Aspen. (It's a humble $180,000 a week's stay. Pocket change.)

And then Bev scored this fabulous hat. Tell me she doesn't ooze glamour? :) LOVE her.

Definitely, a successful and wonderful
girls*weekend
