wedding.belles

If you asked me what one of the best things of 2010 was, I would have to answer getting a job at F21. Oh no. Not because of their fabulous, fast fashion affordable prices and perfect haven for fashion lovers with a small wallet like me, but because I met my dear friend

* J *

I ♥ her from the second she hired me. 2010 and my new life would not have been or be the same without her. She is such a special and still new friend - I am so glad to be back in Colorado!
We're both busy girls and our schedules would never allow us to spend our weekends shopping, thrifting, coloring our hair, getting pedis, and eating sushi.

A couple days ago this happened :D

So excited that Jessica said yes to being in my wedding..not that I gave her any option..haha can't wait to spend my special day with my great friends, Alison, katie and Jessica..it will be great!

Diagnosis: Paranoia.

I love you guys. And because I do, I'm advising you now, with a warm hand on your shoulder, that in the event you should be feeling a little ill or experiencing some weird symptom that you've never had before (like I have been for the past two days), if you're a girl, wouldn't hurt to double check the baby thing first, but whatever you do
don't Google your symptom.

I've been having this weird pain in my chest and throat, more like, esophagus really, because it's much lower than when you say "sore throat" and I simply cannot figure out what's up. Did I get something stuck and it's actually tearing a bit at my esophagus and it's inflamed?! Is it anxiety???
Can't be the last one if you ignore the fact that I sort of woke up and left my brain under the covers today, and I've actually had pain when swallowing.
So, off to Google I go.
And what does it tell me? Something that includes all my symptoms that basically just means you swallow like an idiot and when you do so it hurts. Oh yea, and bad teeth can cause it.

Really?
Really??

Really funny. I'm so gonna have dentures by the time I'm 30. Email me if you would like to place your bets.

Aaaanyway. It was a blah Sunday. But a beautiful one I'm sure. Supposedly some arctic winter front checked in late last night and tucked us into the prettiest white blankets this morning. It was soo pretty. Everything white.
Like in Home Alone when they show the house perfectly peaceful on Christmas morning :) But for me, a snow hating weekend worker, got to make myself presentable and steer my little two door Chevy down I-25. It really wasn't bad and work wasn't that trying either. I was just in a mood.

And so, I leave you with this little gem. Sorry, you're getting all my attractive sides tonight, including confusedmoddyJessica who doesn't really know how to explain things lately so she just agrees with this:

you are my sunshine.

This is long overdue, but I'm so excited that I'm taking the time to do this tonight.

Can't complain that closing on a Saturday means getting home by 9:15pm, especially in retail. I felt weird at work today though, so a quiet evening in was perfect for tonight. Billy and I got to my house at the same time and the boys quickly threw in some pizzas and caught themselves up on Sports Center.
I decided to make a detour upstairs for a bit to sit with my brother Ty. He was hanging out by himself propped up on his bed in the dark playing one of his Tony Hawk skating games.

You have to understand one thing. I LOVE. MY. BROTHER. He is the greatest kid on the planet. He is so sweet, cool, loving, annoying, and hilarious. I LOVE our relationship. He is SO much fun. Being 11 years apart in age difference is the best part about it all. I always have an excuse to say that I love childish things because of my little brother, but in reality I love them only  because they always remind me of spending time with him.

So I sit down on his bed, in his dark room, and watch him play is skating game for awhile.
I have an epiphany for what I'm going to get him for his big 13th birthday next month :)
If you've ever gotten to watch your 13 year old brother play a skateboarding game, you know how hilarious it can be ;) I mean, have you seen the shit they can do? And the little skater guy on the screen looks EXACTLY like my brother. Hair color, straight leg denim, right down to the shoes. And of course (!) the same board he has in real life.

t - wanna see some cool shit?
j - wow you can't do that in like real life can you?
t- mh. Rodney Mulan can.
j - Who?
t- he's a legend!
j- oh ya.

j - is that what that guy can do?
t- who.
j - that guy.
t- {}
j- Who?? No. the other guy.
t- oh.
j- Rod Miller??
t- haha what? Rodney Mulan?!

t- haha!!! you couldn't have been any closer! Rod Miller. Rodney Mulan. haha!!

Spending your Saturday night rolling back and forth on the bed laughing so hard you're crying with your younger brother is pretty amazing.

I can't wait to share with you my amazing idea for his 13th birthday next month :) It's going to be epic!

I

love

my

brother.
