we bit Wednesdays. halloween week

ever since I've been following a new fave mandee I've always loved reading her we bit of me Wednesdays posts and this week I'm participating! This week it is cleverly themed around Halloween and even though it is my least favorite holiday :P (I'm a huuuuuge scaredy cat) I am playing along this week.

{one} have you ever seen a ghost?
Weird story/experience. I think I have. In clear daylight in the middle of a city while I was traveling with my family. We were riding our bikes through this town and we were going slow because there were pedestrians all around. I was casually looking around when I met eyes with this middle aged, slightly balding, tall man with his hands crossed behind his back, standing at the edge of the side walk on the opposite side of the street, just staring at me with this huge grin on his face. At first I thought he was just watching my family and I riding our bikes, but he just kept staring and turning his head as we were riding by.
I know it sounds so lame, and I've never actually told anyone this story, but to this day it was the weirdest thing that I think about when people ask me if I've seen a ghost.

{two} when was the last time you dressed up for Halloween?
Last year when my friend Bri flew in from California to celebrate Halloween with me. I was Roxy Heart from Chicago and Bri was a sexy vampire. Halloween happened to be on Saturday last year and we partied Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Oohhh the college days.

{three} what's your favorite candy?
I honestly go through phases with candy. At the moment I would devour an entire bag of Almond Joys at any given time.

{four} did you have a favorite costume growing up?
Not that I really remember a one favorite costume. I just remember always being something "boyish": a cowgirl, a vampire, a clown. I was never something really girly.

{five} did you carve pumpkins this year?
No. :-( I didn't even go to a pumpkin patch this year!

{six} what's your favorite scary movie?
I don't really have a favorite. I'm one of those people that can get pretty terrified during scary movies, but it doesn't take too much to talk me into watching pretty scary stuff. One movie that always creeps me out though is Signs. I don't know why, but that movie gives me serious goose bumps.

{seven} haunted houses or corn mazes?
Neither. That is one thing I do not have the guts for. I do not do well having actual people scare me. My good friends know that I will most likely start crying and seriously losing my shit if they were to scare me for real and they only know this from having done it. Nick and his cousin scared a friend and me one time by hiding in the house when we came over, turning off all the power to the house and making noises from where they were hiding. Let's just say the second the lights shut off I was glued to the couch scared to death :) I'm a huuge pussy. :P

{eight} are you superstitious?
No. Not at all actually.

{nine} have you ever owned a black cat?

{ten} what are you plans for this coming Halloween?
Most likely working during the day, if I don't end up working the floorset the first night, and if I do have the night off, sitting at home with Nick and Billy watching a number of scary movies.
